5 Ways to Spoil Your Dog This Holiday Season

While you’re out scouring for the best gift deals, make sure to include your cuddly canine!

We always want to spoil our dogs, and ‘tis the season to go above and beyond! Here are some ways you can treat your dog this holiday season, all while keeping them happy and healthy.

Snow adventures. Just because it’s cold outside doesn’t mean you and your dog need to stop having adventure time! Besides, everyone loves a snow day.

Find a wide, open field, unleash your pet, and watch them romp and pounce in the snow. Race and see who wins, and make sure you don’t forget their favorite ball. If your dog is smaller and has short hair, consider bundling them up!

Do keep an eye out for signs of shivering, and limit snow playtime to about half an hour–you don’t want them getting too cold!

Bake homemade treats. We all love treats, but a treat meant for companions isn’t the best choice for your dog. Don’t feed your dog chocolate, alcohol, or dairy. Instead, find a healthy, homemade treat recipe for your pup!

While you’re baking, invite your pup to enjoy the fun in the kitchen and spend some extra quality time together. Like all sweets, they’re best in moderation. Your pup shouldn’t get more than 10% of their daily total calorie intake from treats.

A new route. As the leaves turn from green to bright reds and oranges and the winter chill brings in some snow, the landscape (and smells) changes too.

It’s no secret that dogs love sniffing, so this holiday season, take them on a new route and let them enjoy all the sights and smells.

Stocking stuffers. Let your furry friend join in on the gifting surprises (they might even enjoy playing around in the colorful wrapping paper).

Stuff a stocking for your pup with things like a new collar, squeaky toys, and maybe a new, festive sweater to keep them warm during their outside play!

Nutritious, delicious food. This holiday season, give your dog the benefit of high-quality nutrition that will keep them healthy, strong, and fueled for adventures!

Our recipes are crafted with high-quality protein, fruits, and vegetables, to give your pup the vitamins and minerals they need for an active lifestyle. Our formula does not contain any corn, wheat, or soy!

We hope these tips help you include your dog in the circle of giving this holiday season.
